The LGA held their closing scramble and luncheon on Tuesday, May 29^th.   First place, with a 69, was Polly Wise, Marguerite Gilliam, Cherry Jones and Barbara Mancini.  Second place, with a 70, was Linda Taylor, Linda Yow, Pat Warren and Janet Farrell. 

Officers for 2007-2008 were elected and season awards were presented at the closing luncheon.  Marguerite Gilliam was Ace of Aces.  Most Improved was Shelly Gassner.  Putter of the Year was Polly Wise.

The ladies season has officially ended, however we will continue to have tee times available on Tuesday mornings for those that would like to play over the summer.  The opening coffee for the 2007-2008 season will be Tuesday, August 28^th with the first official play day on Tuesday September 4^th.  All skill levels are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.     

Summer Team play begins June 5^th.  Shin Shin Lin is the team captain.  CCOP’s first match will be June 12^th against Amelia Island at Amelia Island Plantation.  Other matches will be against Marsh Creek, Sawgrass and Magnolia Point with the playoffs  August 9^th, August 14^th and August 16^th.
