Enjoy Classic Golf in A Spectacular Natural
Setting!
At 7,048 yards from the back tees, the Country Club of Orange Park is a driver's course, and make no mistake about it. But with four additional sets of tees, everyone can enjoy our course - not just big hitters. Besides, distance is not everything. Our golf course also requires well-placed shots to avoid the numerous water hazards and surrounding protected wetlands.
Orange
Park is a semi-private course that has undergone millions of dollars of recently completed renovations that make it a top choice for club membership in the

Orange Park is a Challenging Course that Combines a Classic Layout With Nature, in a Spectacular Secluded Setting!
Constructed among ancient oak hammocks and adjacent to an Audubon Society Wildlife Preserve, Country Club of Orange Park is a haven for naturalists and golfers alike.
Characterized by a secluded natural setting with 18 holes of recently renovated championship golf, The Country Club of Orange Park provides an enviable golf experience for members and guests alike . The original Bobby Miller design was renovated in 2002 by former PGA TOUR Professional,
Charles Raulerson . At that time, nine tees were redesigned and the back tees were extended from 6,800 yards to 7,048 yards, although four other sets of tees remain at 6548, 5911, 5511 and 5127 yards, making the course enjoyable for all levels of player.
Orange
Park Boasts a Traditional Look and Feel!
Raulerson wanted to bring a more historic feel to the course reminiscent of traditional courses of Alister Mackenzie and Donald Ross. To achieve this, the tees and fairways were cut close to the greens resulting in a narrow field of play.
The par 72 layout boasts tree-lined fairways with water hazards on 14 of the 18 holes. There are numerous wetland areas, yet the greens are generously proportioned to accommodate both the average and exceptional player! While it's tough to call out special holes on this all star layout; if we had to pick, the 416 yard, par 4, Fourth hole, is a challenging test that features a difficult drive protected by water on the left and hazard on the right. The lengthy second shot must be played to a well protected green over water. The seventh is another standout hole, a par 5, measuring at 540 yards from the tips. It can be hit in two but only if you circumvent a large pond short and right of the well bunkered green. On the back nine 222 yard, par 3 eleventh hole is all the short hole you'll ever need. The 18th, although short at just 387 yard from the tips will settle many a bet with water running down the entire left of the fairway then sweeping right across and past the well bunkered green.
In a world of cookie cutter courses the Country Club of Orange Park truly offers something for every player. From the back it's a challenging layout for the best players, yet length alone is not enough. The numerous hazards and wetlands make almost every shot a strategic decision leaving few clubs in your bag untouched by the end of the round.
Truly the Most Immaculate Course in the Area!
The golf course maintenence staff is the best in the area – bar none. While many courses boast of well-kept greens and immaculate fairways, rarely do those claims reflect the actual course. Golf Course Superintendent,
Scott Price , is a main reason that our claim is evident the minute you step foot on the course. The Tiff-Dwarf based Bermuda grass greens are over seeded with Poatrivialis, making them consistently fast and true all year long.

Orange
Park is also home to bird sanctuary preserved by the National Audubon Society, the nation's largest bird conservation society, which covers the entire right side of the first five holes. The refuge is home to: Wild Turkeys, Deer, Osprey, A variety of eagles, Red-Tail Hawk and Otters. If you’re lucky, an encounter with the endangered bald eagle is very possible.
